RestoGrowth Advisor is a set of free, plain-English money tools for independent restaurants in the US: calculators, checklists, a menu review and guides that show where profit is leaking and what to do about it.
Why we built it
Independent restaurants run on thin margins, and most owners don’t have a finance team. Card fees, delivery commissions, food and labor costs can each quietly eat into profit, and the numbers are hard to check on a busy week.
Many free restaurant calculators online are really sales forms: you enter your details and wait for a call. We wanted tools that give you the answer straight away, with no sign-up, and explain the maths behind it.
Who it is for
Owners, general managers, chefs and bar managers of single-location independent restaurants, cafés and bars in the US. The tools work for larger groups too, but that is not who we build for first.
Who is behind it
RestoGrowth Advisor is a small independent project. We are not a card processor, a POS company or a delivery app, and no such company owns or funds us.
Our payments content draws on people who work in card payments. When someone from outside our team reviews a guide, we name them on it and say what they do, so you can judge their view for yourself.
How we check our numbers
- Every calculator result is worked out in code from the figures you enter, and the formulas are tested.
- Every formula and assumption is listed on How we calculate.
- We only quote a figure when we can name its source; otherwise we give general advice instead.
- How we research, review and correct guides is in our editorial policy.
How the site makes money
The calculators, checklists, guides and basic Menu Review are free, and they will stay free. There are no ads.
- Fee review requests. If you ask for a card fee review and tick the consent box, we pass your request to a payments partner who prepares a quote. Partners may pay us a referral fee if you choose to work with them. You are never obliged to.
- Affiliate links (planned). We may link to software we recommend and earn a fee if you sign up. Each link will be labelled.
- Paid features (planned). Deeper reports and saved history for owners who want more. The free tools don’t shrink to make room for them.
